I've tried different camo's over the years in airsoft. While full blown burlap ghillie will let people step on you, it's hot, cumbersome, and gets in the way of you accessing your gear.Since I live in the Northwest, the best mil surplus camo out here would be Marpat Woodland, by far. However, with surplus camo, it's not designed to be effective at airsoft ranges. The first thing that sticks out is your head, due to the unnatural shape of your gear and facial features. Merely putting on a leafy hood drastically improves your camouflage. I'd say, from experience, in the summer with Marpat Woodland and a leafy hood, your camouflage index is about 30-35 feet. A full suit of leafy brings that down to about 5-10 feet. Less, if they're not paying attention. Furthermore, it's super lightweight, super breathable, easy to equip/unequip, and much easier to access your gear. Also, for reference, I'd say the camouflage index for Marpat woodland in this area is about 100 yards, depending upon visual obstructions and opfor optics; so yeah, you really want to disrupt your headshape outline. You should check with your uniform rules of your ranges first. Can't have everyone at Milsim dressed in leafy after all.

Just opened it, so review is sizing and fit/finish. Ordered M/L. I’m 5’9” with short legs and long torso. 190# 36-38 inch waist. Fit is perfect for me. Seems like it would also be just fine if you were a bit taller and/or a bit thinner than I am.Overal happy with purchase. Seems well made considering price. Won’t last forever but seems like it will serve it’s purpose for a few seasons.

Light weight mesh with lots of things hanging off. The 3d things weigh it down quite a bit. You could easily wear over other clothes. It needs modified if you're planning to use bow hunting. Whichever arm hold the bow you'll have to cut off most to the 3d things on the inside and bottom of the sleeve. It's also super baggy. I got the large/xl one because of my height, the length of sleeve is spot on however I'll need to use something to get it closer to my skin instead of hanging off. It does break up your profile pretty well for early deer season, it's very green with small amounts of brown or gray. It's a darkish green, so nothing ridiculous that would look unnatural, but once the leaves start changing you may need to change to a different color pattern

I had two does get within 15 yards of me. The only reason I got spotted was because I moved my head at the wrong time.

I was really impressed with this product especially for the price. Similar items at Bass Pro didn't seem in my oponion to be as good as this for over half the cost. Only issue was after washing the material started to Frey a little bit. But to be honest it didn't effect it enough to worrie aboit. I would definitely buy this again⁶

I use this for playing airsoft and even on extremely hot days it breathes very well. I would recommend it. It fits true to size and has draw strings. Only complaint it the buttons on the ankle unsnap easy if you’re crawling around very much.

I did like how it wasn't terrible about picking up burrs and stickers like most suits. It looked pretty good overall, but I wish they made a more brown and gray color to go with a late fall and winter camo color. The other issue I have is that the material and the mesh underneath are super reflective of light, so mid-day, it's like a glowing beacon. Also, it comes with a very heavy odor of heavy industrial factory or actually like a submarine. It took about 20 hours of ozone treatment to dampen it down to acceptable. Overall, it's still better than string ghillie suits for most situations. I'm planning to continue using it, but figure out a way to spray paint it with flat paints as well as adding my own textures. I think it's good, inexpensive start compared to the build your own ghillie suits.
