Loved the gel aqua, easier to process than normal gel and doesn't require you to take on water, nice not to have to carry a bottle through a long run. It did not feel like you had to take on board as many gels to maintain performance.

I bought these as I'm a keen hockey player, and these were on special offer on Amazon prime day with great value for money. I preferred these over the gel version as they are easier to consume and leave less of a sticky residue in the mouth but has the same amount of caffeine and glucose in them. The strength of the caffeine in glucose in the aqua gel is perfect for a little boost in energy before and in the middle of my hockey game.

Easy to consume (especially the aqua variant), no gut issues, easily stowed/accessed from anywhere. These really keep you going as long as you remember to take them! Set a timer on long activities if you need to. Only minor complaint is that they are sometimes hard to open, especially one handed with teeth, and you might end up a bit sticky!

Cannot comment on the claimed science but I have them dung long runs and do not have problems

I like the HIGH5 Gels and accidentally bought the Aqua Gels and I find these much harder to eat/swallow. Just a very strange consistency. And the packets are so sharp you end up with scratches on the side of your mouth.
