beautifully designed highly accurate caliper does just what you need
This is a marvelous tool. I've been using it multiple times a day for a year and it still is on the battery that came with it, still accurate to 0.1mm or 0.01 inch. It turns on the instant you move the slide caliper, turns off shortly after stopping, also has manual on/off. Smooth, precise, easy to use. Delightful! Really good design, well executed.

Small, precise, and worth the price!
This little tool was perfect for measuring tent pole diameter for replacement poles. Guessing with a ruler was a bad idea. This micrometer was perfect and saved me grief because I would have purchased the wrong size.It is super easy to read with a high contrast digital display. This is metal, appears to be precision engineered, and doesn't weigh too much. It also comes in a protective storage case.Worth the price!Update January 2025.This great little tool is now helping with projects on my 3D printer. The accurate measurement is super handy. It can measure interior and exterior. Great tool for the price!

These are basic, but very ok. Made of composite material, lightweight. Fairly accurate. Comes with extra batteries for some reason.

Spectacular deal for woodworkers, handymen, craftsmen
I don't do many reviews but these calipers deserve praise. For the price, these are well made and accurate. Probably not accurate enough for a machinist, but I am a life long woodworker. I have been searching for the ideal calipers for years, these are as close as I have found. In the second photo, the green SPI caliper is the basis for my ideal, it has a scale with inch fractions and hundreths on the dial and mm on the bar. I have used this tool for almost 50 years, but haven't found another that can give me the quick visual conversion from inch to metric that I often need, until now! I just ordered 2 more, so I can keep them handy around my shop.

Good but plastic - case included
Great tool. Is plastic though. You can set teeth closed and zero. In and mm measurements. Good digital readout. Another extra set of batteries. Will work well if take care of it as is plastic. Nice case.
