I've never used a back scrubber before and this product works perfectly and the material is high quality. I have sensitive skin, but you have two sides to adjust the coarseness level. It's very easy to use and easy to clean. Very happy and highly recommend it.

If you hot old shoulders and elbows and can no longer reach around to wash your own back this thing works fantastic! It does have a little texture to it so it does exfoliate as you use it as well. I just squirt a little liquid body soap on it and scrub away. It does hold onto the soap well, so if there is anything that would be a negative is that it is a little clumsy to rinse out the soap and wring it out to hang to dry, but it's not so difficult to lose a star for it.

I'm soso on this. First, it smelled terrible. I washed it and left it out to air dry. That seemed to help. It's scruffie enough to get the job done but wasn't exactly what I was looking for. I'll keep it and use it until I can find a better one. Overall, OK though.

Very sturdy and easy to use. Each side of the belt has different levels of aggressiveness. Handles are easy to hold. Belt length is just right. Lather up and scrub away

I have tried many ways to wash my back (I have a orthopedic birth defect limiting range in many of my joints making reaching behind my back very far impossible). Most items I have tried are inadequate, hard to soap up, bunch up in a 'rope' rather than lay flat, or break within a few uses. This is extremely well built, with 2 levels of roughness (I use mine on the 'softer' side most of the time. With the use of grommets and rugged hand loops, nothing is pulling apart any time soon. You do have to be aware of what the strap is doing if you move your hands a lot to reach more areas, but as long as you keep your mind on it you can get it to stay nicely flat on whatever area you are washing with it. I even fold it together to use 'lufa' like on places other than my back. I feel like I truly have a clean back, and I have no worries about how I treat this device. It is a great value and, even if you don't have a disability, you'll be happy with yours and you will get years of excellent service.

The listed 38.5" length includes the handles stretched out. The actual length of the scrubbing surface is 27.5" versus the 32" of the one it's replacing. Otherwise it works.
