Work well and glad I can buy gelatin in this larger size at this great price. I use a lot of gelatin so the larger size is awesome.

Mix with my coffee and I don't taste it - at all. Now I'm tossing gelatin powder in everything and my protein intake is skyrocketing. Had a lady check my ID because I didn't look old enough for the senior discount, so skin is looking good too. Be sure to bloom it before adding to recipes and you'll never get gelatin lumps.

I've been buying the NOW foods beef gelatin for a few years. I remember when they started out with the product being offered in a plain plastic bag, sealed with a twist tie. They certainly have come a long ways.What I used to do with their gelatin, as soon as it arrived, I would pour it into an old protein powder container (same size and shape but different color as what they offer it in now). And then I would put a plastic tablespoon measuring spoon in there, and wallah, anytime I needed gelatin, I'd grab the tablespoon and I was set.So I applaud NOW brand for finally putting their gelatin in a sturdy container. But did they have to DOUBLE the price???!!! For a container??? I used to pay $25 for a 5 lb bag, before they switched to real containers.Price aside, I have arthritis, and exercise is the only real alleviating factor, but it hurts to exercise. So I started adding gelatin to my diet many years ago. Not only do my nails get stronger, but my arthritis pain is much reduced, and I feel much more up to exercise. This is huge, as once you get on the downhill spiral, it's hard to get out.Our diets have changed greatly over the years, and gelatin, which is usually found in animal bones and connective tissue, is something we have taken out of our diets. This is a great supplement to any diet, including your dogs if they have arthritic issues. Ideally, our chicken stock would still be cooked from whole bones, but that is not the case anymore, so we have to supplement.This is a great way to compromise.

Tasteless and dissolves perfectly in hot water. I'm trying this for my first time ever in hopes of making my face look better. I'm 45 and my skin just isn't what it use to be. Gonna try two tablespoons a day to see what happens. I just got this today. So will update after a couple weeks.

I initially bought this to help me increase my protein intake. My nephew had recommended gelatin and he is marathon runner. I'm a senior but have "optimal muscle mass" according to our evolt machine and am working on maintaining that but have lost my "craving" for protein since I've aged. I looked for an inexpensive gelatin on Amazon and I trust the NOW brand supplements. I now consistently buy this brand and am on my 5th container. What I did not anticipate is that my nails have become stronger; they have quit splitting, breaking and bending. While this is not a complete protein like meat is, it does supplement the protein for the day. I also found its a great thickener for some of my recipes that just need a bit of thickening.
