Q: How often do you change the filters?

I use it a lot!! So I use one side 1 month and the other side maybe 20 days, then I replace it. In 3 months I have replaced it 3 times. However I must say I dont use it for it's intended purposes I use it to extract smoke.

Q: What is the cfm of air movement? what is the audio db level of noise generated?

its about 5 inches by 5 inches, and i measured about 500FPM air velocity, so approximately 400cfm. don't know audio level but it just sounds like a fan.

Q: How do you clean the carbon filter?

We recommend cleaning the filter only once before replacing the filter, as there might be micro particles deep inside the filter that are hard to get rid of by cleaning. To clean the carbon filter, please follow the tips below. 1.Clean the filter in environment without strong air flow nor crowd gatherings as dust and particles may scatter when cleaning. Cleaning inside of a waste collection bin is also recommended. 2. While cleaning, please wear protective mask to avoid inhaling harmful gas or particles captured by the filter. Clean the filter by gently shaking the filter. 3. After cleaning, please wash your hands immediately. Q: What holds the rear filter in place?

I use a small bungee cord or you could use a large rubber band. It's kinda a bad design flaw.
