Quick and easy to install, and you get spares
Bought these when I overheated my 1.5L pressure cooker. These were quick and easy to install. I just braced the blowout part with an adjustable wrench, and used a ratchet and socket to tighten the aluminum nut on the opposite side. Took no effort at all, just a couple turns and it was tight.

Original. From the manufacturer in India. Good to have spares on hand when you need.
Have these on hand since they are mailed from India. If I can remember correctly, it took about 10 days to get mine. If you own Hawkins pressure cookers, you will need these at some point, about every 2-ish years of heavy daily use. So you might as well get a few spare and keep them somewhere that won't get lost. You will need a dab of silicone to make the seal again. I used automotive silicone because that's what I had on hand and it sealed up tight. I put the dab of silicone on the outside side of the lid, not on the food side. You might have an issue tightening this back up (the screw and bolt type assembly) because it is very low profile. But this is how Hawkins makes these so just be aware of that your wrench and socket will have to work for low profile. You don't want to round the screw heads off making it impossible to remove. Also, if you use Hawkins pressure cookers for years, and I've had mine for 5 years now, you might as well get replacement lid rubber gaskets that run along the lid. Just have them on hand. They aren't that expensive. Mine haven't broken but also have these the same place I have the replacement safety valves.
