Tool Works on 2011 Mustang
Works well on my 2011 Mustang. There are several of these offered for sale at half the price of this one - that appear to be identical. I chose this particular one because it was sold in Motorcraft packaging. (Trying to avoid a non-functional counterfeit). Although this is not the re-learn tool shown in Ford's 2011 Mustang Service manual, it did work perfectly. 315 MHz Two things: Although our Chevy TPMS sensors also operate on 315 MHz, they are encoded differently and this tool won't perform re-learn on Chevy sensors. Second, the procedure to put the car into re-learn status appears nowhere in the Mustang's Owners Manual - Thank you Ford. But there are many accurate explanations how to do this on YouTube. Would buy again.

It works!
It worked! Thank you FordF150forum.com! My tire shop was stumped. It needed this part which I purchased after once again going to fordf150forum.com and those wonderful ford owners had already explained this issue and had a link to this part. Y’all rock!

Be advised, 2 ways to “learn/re-learn” sensors!!!
Bought this product as I installed new TPMS sensors in my Focus RS (2016-2018 years). Worked like a charm. PLEASE UNDERSTAND there are in fact TWO different ways to learn/re-learn your tire pressures. If you just installed new ones and need to sync them to the car for the first time, here is the process:(DO NOT DEPRESS THE CLUTCH TO START CAR!)-Turn ignition to the OFF position-Press and release brake pedal once-Quickly turn the ignition from OFF to RUN/ACC (engine OFF) three times, stop in RUN position-Press and release brake pedal once-Turn ignition OFF-Quickly turn the ignition from OFF to RUN/ACC (engine OFF) three times, stop in RUN positionNOTE: All the steps for this process must be performed within 10 seconds. A single horn chirp will indicate the relearn mode is active. After you hear the chirp, the dash should read something like “Tire pressure training mode” and will prompt you to start at the left front tire (LF), then the RF, then the RR, and lastly the LR. Hold the clicker aimed directly at the tire stem as close as possible (or next to the tire stem where the tire meets the rim) as that is where the sensor is located. After each tire is “learned”, it will chirp one time and tell you to move to the next tire which again, starts at driver’s side front tire and goes clockwise around the car.The second possible way to RE-LEARN sensors if you have the same ones installed but changed tires or did a tire rotation is:(DO NOT DEPRESS THE CLUTCH TO START CAR!)-Turn ignition to RUN/ACC position (engine OFF)-Quickly press the hazard button 6 times-The horn will chirp one time and the process will be exactly the same by going to LF tire and worming clockwise with the clicker. This is also the GENUINE MOTORCRAFT CLICKER, not some garbage one. Worked great for me!

Good TPMS tool
These came with the Ecoline’s as part of the PDI package in the mid ‘00’s. After 15 years, mine finally stopped working. This is used daily by me at the dealership. If you work on a lot of Ford products, this is an economical alternative to expensive TPMS tools.

Important tool for tires
As a technician for Ford, this tool is such a lifesaver when reprogramming TPMS sensors to your vehicle. Ive had one for over 10 years and finally had to buy another one, good quality and functionality.
