Pleasantly surprised
This C adapter was used with a Sensi Wi-Fi thermostat ST 55 in a 125-year-old house. I had used just batteries before to bring in the Internet, but at times it was on and off. Since putting this adapter in everything works perfectly.

I needed a C wire for my Google thermostat. This plugs into an outlet so no need to run the wire to your furnace. So far so good. It doesn’t come with a wiring Diagram. I had to do some internet searches for that.

DOA, A piece of you-know-what.
This has to be the simplest electronic part to make, ever. But right out of the box, it doesn't work, and outputs 0. Made in China, so no surprise.I threw it in the trash. Even the wires are the cheapest possible and hard to work with. Its not worth my time to box it and ship it back. DO NOT BUY THIS.

Works great
Bought it because our smart thermostat wasn’t getting enough power. I was able to attach it and hook it up while my husband was at work. It did the job wonderfully and gave power back to our thermostat immediately.
