The sponge work good. The reason I gave it a 4 stars instead of 5 is because I didn't receive the pick that is shown in the picture with the other two items.

I use the brush thing everyday, have no idea where the comb thing is though.

Hello, this is my 2nd purchase of this item. I used the first 2 sponges a little too harshly so they didn't last very long and started to rip. But now that I have a better handle on how to use the sponges and the frequency of use of them - I strongly believe this set of 2 sponges will last longer. I love how the sponges make my natural coils form and last. I've mastered my usage frequency and since then I've noticed less hair on the sponge and my hair's style is lasting longer and looking more defined. I'm happy with the purchase of this combo sponges/hair pick product. In fact, I'm so happy with the purchase that I'm considering purchasing this combo pack for an aunt of mine who's also trying to go natural and attempting to do her own hair coiling process.

This sponge came well packaged and it was not squished. It is easy to use and it really does make a difference compared to some of the other sponges I've tried that have smaller holes the only thing I wish is that the other side had wider spacing because it's very tiny But the sides with the holes are a big I don't understand why you would sell it listed as big with only one side being that way.

Foam will deteriorate quickly with abrasion with hair especially if somewhat damp

ISTRUZIONI D'USO:Spazzola in spugna di ottima qualità, molto grande. Va usata solo ed esclusivamente su capelli afro di media e corta lunghezza.NON è adatta a capelli mossi o lisci.Viene usata dai barbieri principalmente sugli uomini, dopo la rasatura o accorciatura del capello.I capelli devono essere leggermente umidi, va applicato (a piccole dosi) gel, schiuma oppure crema senza risciacquo direttamente sui capelli o sulla spugna, posizionarla sulla testa e fare un movimento circolare sempre verso un unica direzione (oraria o antioraria), muovendosi su tutta la testa. Dopo qualche minuto l'effetto è completo, si formano piccoli boccoli o ondine simile a dreadlock (chiamati rasta).Su YouTube trovate diversi video su come appare il risultato finale.
