Perfect beyond my expectations!!
We get a horrible amount of weeds in our back area the worst being dollar weeds. For those of you who are familiar with dollar weeds you know the have white runners just underneath the dirt that go and spread everywhere. Regular gloves are blunted and do not allow me to get underneath the dirt to get them. A few of my fingernails have been actually pulled away from the nail bed with me trying to dig down to get these intrusive weeds. Decided to try these. First for a giggle, have to tell you (or those of you who are old enough to have watched The Avengers with Steed and Emma Peel, the episode called the Winged Avenger with the cartoon bird that came to life with the gloved claws LOL OK moving on I was hopeful but not convinced until they came today and I got out in the yard. First they are more comfortable than I thought they would be. Lightweight. For the person who gave a bad review because of the smell....well they have a slight smell of latex but that is to be expected in my opinion. Perhaps that will go in time. So I found dollar weeds and dug in. YAH!!! scooped them up white runners and all. MY fingernails in tact. A plus is...if I wanted to grab ahold of regular weeds I could still just pinch them like i normally would with the "claw" part not affect my ability to do that pinch. Very very pleased and highly recommendAddendum 3/2/19. Ok finished the weeding of the huge yard...I could not have gotten done that fast without these gloves. Plus saving my nails!! I could not dig down to the the runners of the wild mint and dollars weeds with regular gloves so used to dig down with bare hands and ruined the beds of my fingernails. Wow..these helped so much. So, today I also started putting down the bales of pine straw. These gloves helped me tear the pine straw bales apart to lay down the layers. ONLY drawback so far..... especially being in Florida (we've had warm week here in North Central Florida) is...being latex...my hands were sweating when I remove the gloves. But that is not a deal breaker for me. Still love them and they are extremely useful....

Right size makes short work of spring prep
Sometimes a trowel is too much, but my gloved hand alone is too little, or at least messy with my gloves getting all wet and dirty and my fingers aching afterward from the effort. I decided to give these gloves a try and I'm really pleased. I was able to clean out the leaves and last year's plant remains from all my deck tubs and pots in short order. I could even fluff up the remaining soil so it is ready for my spring planting. If you have small hands though these might not be as effective. I wear a large/8 in women's gloves and a medium in men's. These gloves were fine for me and would be for someone with somewhat larger hands too, The stiff 'claws' might be too moveable on small hands though. I found them really effective as well as kind of fun. I could dig really well down to about 4-5" . The tips come clean easily and the rest of the gloves stayed dry so after my work I could put them back into the supplied carrying bag for storage until next use. I like them so well, I'm buying another pair for my daughter.

Sized more for a man
Ok - I have small hands so these are really big on me - but they still work - just have to push the tips down. They’re thick and sturdy. I wanted them for mulch and stone and to plant outdoor flowers. The tips help rip open the mulch bags and really help to dig in the ground. I just wish they had sizes

These are THE BEST!!
Are these gloves awesome, or what?! They are FABULOUS! If I loosen the soil little bit with a shovel, I can dig right in and pull out the crab grass rhizomes like a champ! The gloves are comfortable, effective, and oh so fashionable. I can see where someone with small hands would have difficulty, though. I wear a size seven glove, and they fit just fine. These gloves protect my hands and nails very well. They’re a little awkward when I try to shovel with them, but having a regular thumb on the glove helps. I can pick up small items without removing them. The best part is, they’re going to be AWESOME at Halloween! 😀😆😀

Not as good an idea as it looks
This seems like a nifty idea, but it's only really useful for very specific situations. The claws are unwieldy, making it difficult to target weeds that are near plants you want to keep. Nor are they sharp/tough enough to get through soil with a lot of roots in it. If you're the sort of gardener who actually keeps their garden under control most of the time, these gloves might speed up your weeding. But as someone who is barely holding back entropy, these didn't prove useful.

Best Ever
I have been tearing through garden beds with these. I love them and use them a lot. They have been amazing for picking out rocks and getting to roots that inhabited my beds. As a 30 year old adult I catch myself making angry dinosaur noises as I bury the claws in the dirt and pull up ha haMy one and only con, one of the claws cracked, by no fault of their own, and I've already placed an order for another set, and will continue to use the cracked claw set because gosh darn, I love these these gloves. They are also amazing when you get that one itch you always get when you have gloves on... they make a great scratching tool lol

Even better then advertised
I got these gloves for my fiance because constantly is digging and planting in the garden and breaking her nails. When she first opened it as a gift she thought it was funny until she used it. He uses it for everything now including pulling weeds and she says it does a better job and much faster. Also it is nice that she has feminine hands again! Thank goodness for these garden gloves!

Fantastic!!! Must Have!!!
My Daughter bought these digging gloves for me for a mothers day gift. BEST GIFT EVER! I have used them constantly since then. Once you become accustom to them. The claw tips are like an extension of your own fingers. The glove portion stretches and I have large hands but they fit perfect! I am able to dig out extra dirt in a pot or a hole in the ground. I can cut off soft stem leaves to prune plants for gardening. It makes loosening up roots from the existing soil to help with growth when transplanted easy as one, two, three. I have worn them while working in a friends garden and after she saw the versatility and functionality of them. She is buying her own today. I will never go without these again. If you garden. You want these!
