Easy to set up and very sturdy
We bought this for the cat we adopted to be in at night and when we have to leave for a few hours- he was a left-behind stray, so this is helping him to get used to living inside a house again. This is exactly what we needed for him. He can have his food, water, and litter box in there, the 'shelves' make it so he can move around when he wants and see out a window nearby, or just see who is coming into the room when we get home. It is sturdy and feels well made. We did do what another reviewer suggested and put a screwdriver through the hooks on the side and bent them inwards, which made it even more study. Great value and a great product. We have no complaints at all about this product. 'Shelves' are big enough for a small cat bed to be on so he has places to sleep. The directions were just pictures, but were fairly easy to figure out what to do - one of us held one part, while the other moved the other parts and hooked them together; was all put together in 15 minutes or so. The 'shelves' are sturdy and support him well, no issues of them coming loose or falling or anything.

Love these!!!!
These cages are so nice I came back and bought a second one!! It takes two people to put them together so one person holds it up while the other person snaps it together. Nothing hard about it. Takes less than 5 minutes. I use mine on the front porch for my cats little vacation time away from the inside world during the day only. Never leave cats outside in this cage AT NIGHT! It wasn’t designed for that because a wild animal like a raccoon will go after food in the cage possibly attacking your cat then rabies could happen. A raccoon can put its little hands through this cage. I use mine outside during the day under my watchful eye by our front door. It’s nighttime predators that you should be concerned about. You would need a cage with tighter wiring for night. Like screen. Totally great for indoor use and attractive!! Sturdy. We used pliers to tighten the snaps. We will be moving in a bit so it’s very easy to take apart and fold. You can also decorate it any way you like! It’s so cute and it’s large!!! Enough space for the litter box. It’s also really easy to clean!!! I just lift the shelves out easily and put them in my tub and wash and spray them down so there’s never an odor or hair! Wipe dry.Or you could use the water hose or simply wipe it down. Easy peasy!!! I’m getting ready to roll one into the back bedroom for 3 feral kittens that I have to chase down and catch! Yes it has wheels that have brakes!! Everybody’s happy!! My babies love it!! And if my babies are happy then Mama’s happy!!! It keeps my kittens from jumping all over my better half as well!! lol. Great buy!! Twice!!! Will purchase another one after we move. These cages have definitely made my life easier. : )

Excellent Product- disappointed that it arrived bent
Excellent Product- disappointed that it arrived bent but we were able to bend it so that it would work. Great playpen for the kitten when you can't actively watch them and they didn't mind being put inside because it has so much room. Keeps them safe- easy to open/assemble if you watch the video but it did take two people. Litter box fit in the bottom but is easy to access and clean. After I purchased this product I did notice same product with ladders to access other shelves which was necessary for young kitten- we rigged something for them to use to climb to different levels- but it only took a few weeks for them to be able to jump up themselves. It rolled around easy so you could move it to a different location with ease. I would definitely recommend or purchase again.

I mean... It's okay...I suppose
I've got a tiny house with an unruly kitten, and my husband was about to go insane with kitty's antics, so I bought this cage to corral him (kitten, not my husband!). Saw good reviews for this one, so not knowing a thing about cat cages, I bought it.I've not had it for long, so I cannot speak to its longevity or durability, but it does seem to get the job done. Kitten loves it, husband's sanity has been restored, and since it's on wheels, Kitty can go out on the porch when the weather's nice and enjoy nature as I drink my tea and soak up the sunshine, too.However... If you're considering this cage, keep these things in mind:When the package comes to your door, it's gonna be heavy. (About 41 pounds or so). It's also in a huge, flat box that's hard to wrangle. A younger, able bodied person should have no problems, but I had to leave it on the porch until my husband got home from work to help. I know a lot of you are little ol' cat ladies like me, so it's worth mentioning. The instructions are horrid. Just throw them away and figure it all out yourself... you'll do a better job. I dunno what engineer got paid to slap that booklet together, but dude... maybe you should find another line of work. I don't know if there's a YouTube video out there you could watch, but it might be worth a try to find one. I wish I'd have thought to look....Which leads me to my next point: You need two people to assemble this. However, once you get the process going, it simply folds out and takes shape rather easily. It just comes all stuck together and you need one stronger person to yank it apart, and another to help that person not get their fingers pinched. One more thing: it needs a ton of zip ties all around it to keep it together and secure. Kitty loves the zip ties, so it's all good, but we were fortunate to have a package already, or we would've had to go out and buy some, which would've been a nuisance.I think it would fit two adult cats easily (as long as they liked each other, of course), but it would not be a good long term solution... Just not enough space. But hey, it's good enough to be my kitty's patio and it keeps my husband happy, so win/win.One more thing I'd like to mention: This was an Amazon Basics product, and I have a conspiracy theory that they plant good, five star reviews for such things so you'll buy them. (Hey man, ol' Jeff really needs to line his pockets with more of your hard earned cash so he can take another joy ride to space!)All in all, four stars. Seems okay, gets the job done, and the price was reasonable. Hope this helps!
