This thing has been strapped to the outside of a vehicle for going on two year. I’ve pressure washed around it, driven through deserts, taken it into snowy tundra, and overall just abused the crap out of it. It’s held up great. I’ve had to replace the battery once. Would recommend.

I bought the indoor outdoor thermometer and the outdoor sensor broke with two hours. I processed a refund and Amazon told me to not bother returning the item. I decided to buy a new outdoor sensor on a whim and the unit is working fine now.

I have these transmitters in my barns to monitor the temperatures for my animals. I have them about 150 feet from the receiver. Occasionally, they go offline, but when I get closer, they reconnect.

We ordered this to replace a competitor's product that didn't always work. This thing works.We have relegated the competitor's product to our RV and it still doesn't always work. This thing works.

Easy to set up

I bought this item 1 year ago. I'm a school bus driver and since I'm a good 30 feet away from the kids in the back of the bus I can't tell at all what the temp is back there. The heaters on full blast are hot and loud and I want my kids to have a comfortable ride so the less I have to run the heaters on full blast the better. I attach the main unit to the front of my bus in the driver area (the time is a HUGE bonus for me) and the transceiver is in the back of the bus. This has really helped me to regulate temperatures and I know when it's good to turn off the power heaters.I have just returned for a 2nd unit and an additional set of transceivers since I brought my first set home for the summer and found it to be super helpful to know the temperature on our new sun porch so I knew when was best to shut the sliding door or to open windows. Having control of this information has been super helpful and I'm going to be able to save a lot of money on heating by harnessing the heat that we build up in the porch. I'll be adding a second transceiver in the chicken coop next to my house so I can keep an eye on their comfort level too.Great sturdy product here. I put in a set of batteries last September and haven't had to replace them yet. They've been outside all year in New Hampshire Weather - so going from single digit degrees up to into the 100s. They hold up well and I've had 0 issues. I highly recommend these temperature gauges.
