Others complained about having to enlarge the pilot holes. Not true, the holes were the correct diameter. It was hard to turn the fasteners, because the table lags are from hardwood. So, I used a teensy bit of liquid hand soap. That worked fine. Threaded fine and no splitting the wood. Others complained the wood was a veneer. Mine was not a veneer. These are solid wood. The wood strips are joined together. Two of the four were from clear boards joined together. The other two were from finger joined boards joined together. Great product for the money.

These are awesome! Assembly was easy for the holder and all the pieces were there! It even came with a L wrench thing for the screws.Tables are lightweight but sturdy and fold in and out nicely. I like the dark wood color and texture. I have bumped into them, but they haven’t fallen over like my other tv tray tables from Target. The set was also cheaper than the ones I got at Target.It has good height and holds quite a bit more than than the recommended weight restriction which is a huge bonus.

These tray tables are handy, and for the cost, are a good value. They are not completely sanded on the under-side, so I will do that....but they are attractive, and fairly stable. They are tray tables - so their design doesn't make them that stable nor should they be used for heavy loads - but they will do for tv dining....and providing extra table top space for sorting and other projects. The stand was fast and easy to put together. The directions are clear. All the parts and pieces were included. No chips or gashes - well packed.

After reading so many negative reviews, I waited several months before I ordered these tables.I am very happy I did order from Casual Home, for $53.03. This set was made in Thailand.I ordered Espresso, The color is very dark (almost black) Not to be confused with Walnut.The only thing I was disappointed with was how the table opens. My old set locked in place with a clip.This set has a metal guide bar that does not lock in place. (As shown in my pictures #4.)I have included pictures of the instructions and my assembly. I had none of the problemsmentioned in other product reviews. Each table had a plastic bag over the top. They are bagsand slip off very easy. The plastic is not attached to the table, as some other reviews have complained, about other sets costing more. I decided to keep the bags on them while not in use.The set came with an Allen Key or a hex key. Very easy to assemble !I broke my right wrist several years ago and I had no problem with the assembly of the stand.If this is the first time you are assembling an item.My tips are: Attach all the components to one wood post (handle, table holder,cross bar and bottom base).Do Not over tighten the screws !

Good and sturdy. Nice when you have small children. They don't turn over easily. Height is good fot the sofa

They work well, they don’t feel too cheap. However, it’s been only 2.5 weeks since I bought them and one has already broke. I requested a refund 3 times and still have not heard back from Amazon. I reached out to the company themselves but they unfortunately can not do anything.
