I recently upgraded to the Aqara U100 Smart Lock, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. Our son recommended this lock. The lock itself was easy to install and fit in the existing deadbolt holes. The strike plate is larger and I had to buy chisels to enlarge the opening. After a first try the strike plate was set too far back and the lock would not shut. After chiseling some more to move it 1/8” it works fine. We really like the fingerprint to open when we have our hands full. We also really like the autolock capability and the way it works.

I have brought hub and this products software is absolutely horrendous. Been trying for two weeks to add to thread and gave up. Don’t buy this product and save yourself the headache. Only good for local connection to iPhone and Bluetooth. And they should lower price for customers spending so much money for a not so smart device!

I was a bit apprehensive purchasing at first due to reviews regarding connectivity and battery life. I was able to get the lock installed rather quick, with the only hiccup was it was difficult to pair with the Aqara hub. So as a workaround, I set the lock physically next to the hub.. paired it, then installed the lock. This seems to have worked great.So far the HomeKit integration is great, with quick response time through both the HomeKey and PIN functionality. After a month my battery life has dropped 8% so perhaps that will be an issue down the line but for now I am throughly enjoying the lock!

The media could not be loaded. Had this product for four months and started glitching after the first month. Door will phantom input numbers and lock itself constantly. Fingerprint feature works fine when it does, but due to the input, would sometimes lock me out due to too many passcode tries that I didn’t put in.I have tried contacting aqara, but their product support website page is very lackluster and hard to find out where to contact them. When I found an email to contact about the issue, I have not heard back in a week. For aqara’s other products which are inexpensive in its class I would have given up but seeing as this product fairly expensive, this type of product support is disappointing. Willing to change this review if they contact me back.

Absolutely thrilled with my new Smart HomeKit Deadbolt! The auto-lock feature, HomeKit integration, passcodes, and fingerprint sensor work flawlessly. Installation was a quick, taking only about 5-10 minutes with clear instructions and a helpful video within the app. I'm impressed with its performance that I'm buying a second one for my side door! Highly recommend!

I love this item, connects with Bluetooth to have a more secure network, also the fingerprint sensor is amazing, and it is very easy to install

Lock works great! Love the ability open via code, fingerprint and most importantly the ability to open with phone/watch. Too early to have an opinion on battery life and will update score if that becomes a negative. Moved from an August Lock (v2, which was an upgrade from v1 over the years). So far this lock is better on all vectors.
