Bye bye hair loss
This vitamin has really been working on my thin hair and hair loss. I have been so self conscious about my hair loss I was seriously thinking about getting a wig. Even my 17 year old daughter ran her fingers through my hair and stayed wow mom your hair is really filling in. Within two months started to see results. I need to do an updated pic at six months. This has not hurt my stomach or caused any issues digestive wise. Haven't noticed anything about my sleep. I do take this first thing in the morning. Bonus people are saying my skin is looking amazing and what is my secret.

It works!
Incredible. I used the other hair supplement by this brand and it works just as well. Love love love the results. I see results within a month . Posted a before and after finishing the first bottle. The photos are on hair was days after air drying and brushing. Not only did I have less come out at the end of the first bottle but the shedding throughout the day is little to none .

Excruciating stomach pain and nausea
Please do your research! I wish I had read the negative reviews as well.As soon as I received this vitamin, I was excited to try it. I've had Mary Ruth's brand in the past and I never had issues. I felt very confident that this would be okay. I've had their biotin gummies, their liquid multivitamin, and their hair growth multivitamin. None of those have caused any issues for me except for this one.I had the recommended dosage of 15mL around 8 or 9pm. By 12am, I felt discomfort in my stomach and did go to the bathroom. When I woke up at 5am for work, I ended up vomiting and feeling extremely awful. My body was shaking a bit and I was feeling a lot of pain in my stomach. Around 10am, I couldn't take it anymore and vomited. I had Pepto Bismol and it did not work. I couldn't throw up or go to the bathroom so I thought taking milk of magnesium might help so I took that. Of course, it worked however the discomfort and pain remained. The next day I felt the same. I thought, well, I have to try and eat something so I had a couple pieces of watermelon, about 4 or 5 diced pieces and right after that, I felt so much pain. From 1 to 10, it was 100. I had to leave work early and took myself to urgent care. Urgent care advised me to run to the ER as they couldn't help me. The ER ended up giving me an IV of pain killers and nausea. They also prescribed me with stomach cramps meds, nausea meds, and Tylenol #3 for pain. They recommended I follow up with my primary care. It's been a day since I went to the ER, I stopped the medication I was given to see if the symptoms have subsided; to be honest, not really. As I'm typing this, I feel discomfort and cramping however, the pain is not as excruciating as it was yesterday when I took myself to the ER. This is the kind of pain that caused me to be hunched over, couldn't walk straight, and had me crying to the nurses. I was crying because of the amount of pain I was in. The doctor pressed on my stomach to check which area hurt the most and god... That was so much worse. I don't wish this upon anyone. Please, please be careful. All I had was 1 of the recommended dosage for the very first time. I don't know what happened. I don't know if I'm allergic to any of the ingredients. I don't know. But I'm never trying this ever again in my life. I lost my money and hours at work that I can't get back. I pray that I'm better tomorrow because I'm terrified of this developing into something worse. I hope this review helps someone.I also have proof of having an IV and receipt proof of my prescribed medication if this were to escalate.Please. Do your research. Be careful.

Gut issues
I gave this product three stars because I'm not sure what is working and what caused my issues, but.... I started having intestinal issues during the same time I was taking this product. I also have baby hairs growing on top of my head (not just hairline). However, I've been doing a LOT of things for growing hair like scalp massage, hair oils, shampoos, rinses, etc., so it's difficult to say what is re-growing my hair. The intestinal issues caused me to think I was developing a gluten intolerance. Every time I ate pasta, bread -- even some gravy I made with white flour -- I had intestinal cramping and either constipation or diarrhea, so I gave all my flour and pasta products to a friend and have bought gluten-free everything (which is okay, but not as tasty, and the textures can be a bit icky). I was considering buying another bottle of the Hair Growth Max (or one of the other Mary Ruth Hair Growth products), but after reading a couple of one-star reviews on those other supplements, I'm beginning to wonder if it's the Lustriva that was causing my problems. I can't find any info on negative Lustriva side effects, but I did learn that it isn't a natural ingredient - it's lab created. Now I'm afraid to repurchase this, because I sure don't want to experience another 3-5 days of feeling ill... I've lost enough days to it already. I finished my first bottle about the same time I had to switch to gluten-free, so it's hard to know without being willing to feel ill again, but the timing sure is suspicious. I have NEVER had issues with my gut - always been able to eat anything and I take vitamin supplements daily with no problems. Hope this helps someone else.EDIT: I have since researched the eclipta and amla, and amla's side effects include acidity, constipation, diarrhea, nausea, stomach cramps, and heartburn, so that could have been the source of my problem. I have slowly re-introduced non-gluten-free items into my diet, with no gut distress. Also, I have to give kudos to MaryRuth's. They have been in contact with me and expressed their concern about my experience.
