Making Dan Dan Mien and they were fabulous. These are Sichuan noodles and with these chilis and Sichuan peppercorns it was a fabulous dish!

Good quality chili "powder"
This chili powder is more like a cross between a powder and pepper flakes. There are pretty large pieces of chili in it. Not bad if you are using this to add heat to dishes like chili where the size doesn't matter. If you prefer a more powdered chili like you'd get at the grocery store, you might want to look elsewhere.The taste is excellent and it seems very high quality. I've used it in a beef chili and to pan fry some chicken. Both came out delicious.
