Haven't tried the wicks yet but the warmer, pot, spoon, and thermometer work great. The wax melts super fast, within four minutes, and very easy to use and understand. Does NOT need to be at highest heat to melt wax. Would definitely recommend for a beginner like me

This is my first attempt at candle making. The hot plate melts wax fast. I set the control to 3 and before I knew it the temp was at 370. Thermometer works good. I let it cool to 130 and poured. Not sure if I burned it but when it cools completely I'll see how it burns. My bad. a 6 oz mason jar filled to the fill mark with 5 oz of wax. Next I set it to 2 and had to watch as the temp of the wax rose. At 170 I took it off the burner and cooled to130 I poured. Caution this thing gets super hot fast. Pouring was easy with no dripping. The wax pours yellow but initial dry of the candle that reached turned cream which is fine with me. Wicks are thin and waxed. The one that only reached 370 is hardening rusty cream. 170 is hardening white. Overall very happy with this kit.

We used this for my daughter’s birthday party, and it melted the wax very quickly and mess-free! It had very clear instructions, and was so fun for the kids! It looks very nice and was very durable. It came with all of the things and was not damaged. I highly recommend this product!

Bought this kit to refill 2 dozen Mexican veladoras. I figured 2lbs of wax would be enough. Wrong, it looks like for each Veladora you’ll need 1lbs of soy wax. The heater/pot thing is great, heats quickly on 3. The pot holds enough for about 2 veladoras. I bought some 8” wicks for my project but the 5” wicks included will be sufficient for most of your other needs. Ordering another 10lbs of wax to finish my project. A few more wick holders too

Works great. Definitely want a place or it if you're not quite good at it as it may be messy, but cleaning up the wax is fairly simple. Everything in the kit is simple and easy to use. Wouldn't let young kids do it themselves due to the hot wax and possible mess with dyes; the heater can get pretty hot, I could probably use it to boil water if I had to. Kit also come with a pretty nice thermometer

This came with everything I needed to start my new crafting endeavor. Everything in the package was high quality for the price though the hotplate is more geared for cooking so start with a very low temp setting and work up slowly. I've already made a dozen 4oz candles and everything is holding up just fine using some cheap steel candle jars. The wick holders are a very useful accessory.

This product is so amazing! Everything works perfectly and feels very durable. The only thing is that the burner gives off a strong smell but after the first few uses, it goes away. The quality of the wax is great and works extremely well. I’ve made multiple candles with this set and each one has turned out well and burned correctly. I can also imagine this would be a fun activity to do with kids. The burner does get extremely hot so watch little ones around it. I personally only use it on the very first setting because it gets so hot. Overall, I love this product and would recommend it to anyone.
