TevaMen's M Langdon Slide Sandal
N**R
Got 4 years out of my last pair
I bought a pair of Teva's 4 years ago and the quality is top notch. The microfiber foot bed is very soft and comfortable and they give good support. I wear mine from spring through fall approximately 6 hours per day at least. They were still in reasonable condition but there was a crack developing underneath my big toe on one sandal. They were also slightly large. I should have bought one size smaller. The Langdon is the closest style to what I had before, I don't remember the name of them. I usually wear a size 9.5 in most shoes of any style. It is odd because my foot length measures 10.5 inches. This time I ordered size 9 instead of 10 (like the 4 year old ones). One thing you have to realize is that the top part of the sandal will stretch after you have worn them for a while. Some reviews state that you cannot push your foot forward into the sandal all the way because the top is too small. To make sure they are the right size when you get them just force your foot forward as far as you can and if your toes are at the front and your heel isn't hanging off the back you have the right size. Once they stretch they will fit well. Here is my method of cleaning these sandals so they will look brand new again after the oils from your feet make them look shiny or dirty. Fill a sink with hot water and add Dawn dish soap. Let them soak upside down so the foot bed is in contact with the water (they float). Soak them for at least 20 to 30 minutes. Sacrifice a toothbrush and scrub the entire sandal. I stand them up on end preferably outside in the sun if you can and let them dry naturally.Once you have tried these Teva's you probably won't buy anything else.Update June 2024:I have ordered yet another pair because now my current sandals have developed an area by my small toe that the microfiber surface is tearing apart. My biggest beef with these type of sandals is that they stink. I mean so bad that if I am sitting at my computer with my feet under the desk I can smell them. The smell doesn't go away and you don't get used to it. I assume it is because the sandals act as a constant exfoliator while you are walking around and all that dead skin causes the odor. It is a real chore to wash these sandals and they take a couple hours to dry with a fan blowing on them.

Comfortable and long lasting
Last a super long time definitely worth every penny and very comfortable

Great sandal, but in the us, you should buy at least two sizes above your normal
They seem to be very well made, and they feel very comfortable. However, the size is not at all accurate. I had to order two sizes above what I normally do, and it is still slightly short.

Time will tell - seems well made.
So far so good - seem well made and are pretty comfortable. One issue I always have is stink... wearing them outside, especially in and out of a boat or whatever, inevitably wet/maybe dirty/maybe sandy/maybe sweaty feet are going in and out of them... hopefully they don't start to really stink like some other sandals I've had. Time will tell.

The top of the hill for slides, it doesn't get any better than this
This slide is by far the best fitting, most comfortable, and probably the nicest looking I have ever owned. I live in FL and when I'm not working I really don't like wearing any type of closed shoe. I had flip flops with that pole between the toes so slides have become my shoe of choice under most conditions. I've tried (and owned) at least 20 different types and probably close to that many brands. You can pay upwards of $100 for some, but that isn't necessary. I've found that almost all the teva slides are very good but this pair fits so good and the suede like leather sole is so comfortable. I wish they had a tad more arch support but I won't ding them on that. Like other teva's I expect they are made extremely well and will last for at least a couple years (not an easy task considering how rough I am on shoes). So go ahead and spend a little more money than than what most slides run, you can't go wrong with Teva's especially this model.Other things to note these are not adjustable so I imagine some folks will not find them a perfect fit like I did.The sole is very thick and profides super shock absorption (which is rare for slides) The tracks on the bottom are excellent and I haven't seen them slip on any surface. I wouldn't play tennis in these but I could actually run if needed (they fit me that good).

Run small in size!
The Teva sandle is great but they do run small. I wear a 10 1/2 so I ordered a size 11. I know it will stretch in time and wear. I should have ordered the size 12.

Bad design, sized too small.
Sized too small. Angular sole design means the sandal is constantly slipping off the foot. Horrible product.

Check strap height! Not ideal for arched feet!
There is no adjustability or stretchability for the strap. My size 8.5 foot couldn't get far enough past the strap to keep the heel from resting on the back of the slide. There was a ton of toe space in the front that was unusable. Returned immediately after receiving.
