Phonics Homework Helper, Grade 1

Was not what I expected. It was very small and I guess I thought it could be used for class homework. This is great for individuals who need extra help, but not for a classroom teacher.

My daughter will be going into 1st grade this fall. I decided to purchase this for her to work on during the summer. She loves it! She has finished the whole book without prompting from me. It was easy for her to read and do the activities on her own. I had to help with her only one activity in the whole book, which I think is great. We loved it so much, we already purchased grade 2 for her.

Books were smaller than I was expecting but plenty of activities and my kids enjoyed them, for a great price.

Use this with my grandson for quality time, homework helper, and just fun time together. Helps reinforce what is learned at school.

really for beg of 1st grade, once your child mastered reading then to basic, I was hoping for something more complicated, but will save it for my next child and will start it earlier

Great little book to use when tutoring. Complements the Ready-Set-Learn: Reading Comprehension book. My first grade student enjoys using this book.
