Is it legal to have a private lighthouse?
I went from 320 Lumen soft white to these 6000k 1200 lumen bulbs. I have these in a small room, that is a 15x17. It is kinda like having a collapsed sun on the ceiling. After the initial blinding and what I am pretty sure is permanent burning of my retinas, it is quite nice. Going to immediately buy more for around the house.

Brightness OK - Fit into Hunter Ceiling Fans
Not sure they are 100W incandescent equivalent, which is 1600 lumens (subjective). They seem closer to the 60W (800 lm) "tear drop" incandescent candelabra (E12) based bulbs they replaced. They are actually a little smaller. Brightness probably in between 800-1600 lumen. Color is accurate/pleasing. They fit in common Hunter brand ceiling fans with glass bowl shades and of course consume much less power than incandescents of "equivalent" lumen output. Over all I'm pleased and will buy again.

Where's the spirals?
Wow, smaller than most 100watt equivalent bulbs with more weight. But wow! They are just as bright as the spiral bulbs I purchased in the past. They throw a nice even light and I purchased the warm light version and that's exactly what I received. The light actually looks like an incandescent warm light, light bulb. Didnt want daylight brightness in my kitchen, too harsh of a light. I'm impressed with these so far. They take up a lot less room in my storage cabinet as well. 4 of these bulbs would almost fit in the same space as one spiral bulb box. The spiral bulbs, due to design, would show the spirals through the lamp shades of mine, but to my surprise these don't show a shape. Just nice lighting.

Works great for my IKEA Whirlpool Range Hood
The two original bulbs for my IKEA range hood burned out, 40 Watt Candelabra base. I made the trip to IKEA and was told by a customer service rep that their range hoods are actually made by Whirlpool and they gave me their number to call and they would send me complimentary bulbs, since IKEA does not stock that particular bulb. I called Whirlpool and they were very helpful but the replacement bulb was going to be $25+ for each bulb. Even their customer service rep was surprised how expensive they were. $50+ for two old incandescent bulbs was shocking to me and I went to search for an alternative. The box stores and even a local specialty store had no such candelabra base bulb that would fit my range hood. I ordered these bulbs and they work perfectly, so far. The LED’s should last a long time based on how little we actually use the range hood light. My wife was delighted to have a light above the range again and these bulbs put out nice light and very reasonably priced.

Small footprint for a very bright light
The fluorescent light in my bead blaster died. I wanted to install a brighter LED light with a smaller smaller foot print than the abnormally large and very low light fluorescent tube that came with the cabinet.I ordered a matching socket and installed this bulb. See the photo - that's my bead blaster cabinet in my dark shop. A bead blaster cabinet is a rough environment for any light source and it's not comparable to "real world" use. If these bulbs last a month is a a cabinet filled with compressed air fired glass beads, I'll be amazed. In a normal, debris free location, these little bulbs would shine. And no, I cannot comment on "sheerness" - the stupid made up feature Amazon wants me to evaluate for everything from LED bulbs to sledge hammers. Hope that helps!

These aren't your father's candelabra lights!
These LED bulbs brightened up my workplace. Previously the ceiling fan had three 40 W incandescent bulbs, one of which was dead, and I had a hard time working in the poorly lit office space. At first, I thought that I would have to replace the ceiling fan, and then I did a search on Amazon, and bam! My office is well lit. I am honestly not sure if the bulbs are 100W equivalents but the difference is night and day (pun intended).

Super bright & white
Love the bright and white light these bulbs put out. I am using these in my oven/range hood, because of the cornrow design and being in a reflector setting I am not getting the full output (still bright!). For those used in ceiling fan it gives a super bright output. Because of the design you may want to consider using these in/with some sort of covering, e.g., frosted globe. Not as visually eye appealing as a classic candelabra designed bulb.

bulb hight is perfect for most light fixture covers
issue I was having is with the candlelabra type bulds that are e12 bases are too long for most light fixture covers. Newer ceiling fans seem to have all switched to the e12 base and only come with 40w bulbs that do not generate enough light.
