Coyote Places the Stars (Aladdin Picture Books)

I love to read to my grandchildren and both really enjoy this book. A new way of looking at nature.

This book is truly a work of art. I saw it at a state park in Arizona, and later bought it for a friend's toddler. I'm sure it will become a classic in their household. I remember how much I loved really well illustrated books when I was a kid - the intricate ones, with lots to find in each page. This is that sort of book. So if you have an observant child who loves looking at things, I highly recommend this book. Very fun and interesting story, too.

My 7-year-old son loves this book and I don't mind reading it with him again and again. The illustrations are lovely and distinctive and this was a great introduction to native folk legends.

Terrific book!!

This beautifully illustrated story relates an origin story of how the constellations were formed by crafty Coyote. Taylor's art is just stunning, bringing vibrant life to this starry myth.
